Throughout the year we organize horse riding on the beach with the departure from our handling of Agrustos.
The one hour tour take us trough the pine forest, along the coast between the beaches of Porto Ottiolu and Agrustos, then along the pond where often you can also admire the pink
flamingos.
This horseback riding is also accessible to younger children with ponies (minimum age 4 years);.
The start of the two hours tour coincides with the sunrise that you can admire riding through the pine forest along the coast between the beaches of Porto Ottiolu and Agrustos. The ride continue on the beach of Budoni where, according to weather conditions, you can also ride on the sea shore and, possibly, immerge with horses in the water.
In low season we organize horseback riding and trekking in the mountains with the departure from our handling site near Porto Ottiolu (about
1 km after Porto Ottiolu in the direction of San Teodoro (road SP1)). We have tours from two hours to several days.
According to our destination (Monte Nieddu, Nature park Usinava, or Mont'Albo of Lula) you can admire the old Gallura farmhouses immersed in the typical Sardinian flora (patches of rock rose, juniper, myrtle, oaks,…) and various type of wildlife such as wild boar, wild sheep, goats, cows and the fox. With a little luck we will see the extraordinary flight of hawks. During the itineraries of more days we sleep and eat inside the “pinneti” (typical ancient folds of Sardinian shepherds).
